Single? WHAT?!!

Ya ya I know I'm single and I have a blog. I figure I better start sooner or later because it's going to be a hard transitions from facebook to blog :-) I'm not sure how often I'll post or even what it'll be about but I'm sure you'll LOVE it. I might not tell you alot about my life, but then again I just might. You'll want to check it often because I promise you you'll laugh atleast once, even if it's just in your head. And I'm not going to post pictures most of the time because that's an awkward scene. Imagine this....It's a beautiful cool day here in Chandler, Arizona and I'm walking down the sidewalk to my holistic medicine class. The breeze is blowing in my hair and it's one of those days when you think "Dang if I wasn't me and I saw me now I'd keep looking" . I take a deep breath, look left, look right, and BAM!!!!!!!!! Next thing I'm looking at is my hands trying to push myself off the ground. And what am I supposed to do??? "Hey man did you just see that!!! Well, I was wondering if maybe you could take some pictures of me so my family can see the road rash on my face!!!!!!!!!" AWKWARD!!! So for the most part it's just going to be my words, interesting facts, insights, jokes, or whatever's on my mind. (Use some caution in deciding what is appropriate. Example: If the title says something like' %$#@^%18!*#&* ' words of the wise, don't read it!!)

My real reason for 'creating' this blog is because of the talk given in the Relief Society Broadcast telling us to create. I thought for a long time about what a single girl, like me, could create. I tried listing all my qualities to see which ones could actually lead somewhere: mostly a good listener, usually upbeat, probably won't judge a person....by now my leads aren't looking so good. So I've decided that I can create smiles. I've been working on it little by little lately and I love it. Just hearing a little giggle makes my heart swell and it gives me my reason to get through the day sometimes. But then the big question....HOW THE WORLD DO I DO THAT?!! After having my nieces over for one night I found one way to answer that question. So this blog is dedicated to all the stay at home mom's. Okay, not even stay at home. If you are a mom, this is to you. We owe you the world!! Life with kids can be......numbing? Disorienting? Frustrating? BUT oh so wonderful at the same time. I hope that I can occasionally give you an out and let you see life through my eyes. Don't expect too much because this is just an experiment....so thank you all for 'volunteering' to be observed, poked at, and maybe even commented on! I'll try to keep names to myself but if I fail, I am sorry.

I'll end my post with a thought: "Eat right, exercise, die anyway. You choose." - Unknown

Oh do I love a good laugh! I'll be checking in with you every day to see what you've got rolled up your sleeve! (No pressure though! J/K) I REALLY look forward to hearing what you have to say. And your reason for beginning this blog is entirely wonderful. I think that's awesome. I rearranged my furniature today for the same reason: because I felt like I needed to "create" something. I love you so much Allee.

Oh yes! I can't wait to not only get to read your thoughts and feelings but to "visit" with you! I love you, you inspire me...I'm so emotional lately...anyway, I can't wait because at my inlaws we started telling jokes and the only one I could think of was the deaf man a chicken one...they laughed but I'm sure it was out of pity! I hope that you can at least post a joke every once in a while. Heck if I learned two a year that would be more that increasing my joke learning ability by at least I don't know...you do the math.
