MY year supply

The other day I was traveling down the road, probably stopped at a light and I was thinking of my year supply. As of right now it consists of: . I guess I'm hoping I'll be able to make it to my mom's and dad's before anything gets too bad. But I was thinking of things that I would like in my year supply. Of course we all think of the beans, flour, sugar, salt, water, you know the basics but then I started thinking "I want more than that! I can't just eat those things! I NEED SUBSTANCE!!!!" Snickers, butterfinger, pringles, chocolate, juice, soda, salad....mmmmmm now that's what I'm talking about! Then I got to thinking of things that aren't food. Of course most of us would want a change of clothes but then I thought "Naw I think I could survive with what I had on for a while." I like to wash my hair, shampoo and conditioner. Ya that would be nice but I guess I don't really NEED it. Toilet paper....most definetly! Games??? I'm just not sure what to expect...are we going to be just sitting around or are we going to be busy bees? And what about the kids? They're going to need something to do so I figure a few fun things to do wouldn't be a bad idea. What about books?!! We may need to take our minds off something so I'll for sure want a book or two!! After a while my list seemed pretty good of things that I needed and things that I wanted. (It felt like I was making a Christmas List for Santa!!) But then a thought popped into my head. "WHAT ABOUT TOOTH PASTE???!!!!" I have never thought this deep about my year supply and I almost started crying when I thought that I may not get to brush my teeth!! I don't know how many of you know this but I am a tooth brushing machine! Oh that fine fresh feeling of minty coolness after a vigorous brushing of the teeth followed by a good swishing or two of that refreshing liquid they call mouthwash :-) Awe sweet release! And then comes the ultimate clincher......a drink of ice cold water that only brings out the minty freshness of the sparkling white teeth! You breath in and you can feel the icy coolness as is rushes down your throat and fills your lungs! If only we could experience this 24/7 then that's when we would be in heaven! Atleast in my point of view! My hat goes off to the person who scribed of the first known tooth paste in the 4th century in Egypt. Thank you my kind sir for offering your knowledge, expertise, and your ability to make people around the world smile because of the delight in our mouths.

That's funny because I just brushed my teeth before I sat down at the computer and yes, I totally agree about tahat heavenly feeling. I just can't say I agree about the drinking ice cold water, my teeth are already too sensitive--ouch.
