My job ROCKS!!! This summer I get to spend nearly every day of every week with one of my boys....Jack or Tyler. They are so amazing!!! Three days out of the week I get to go to school with Jack and play with other kids who are mentally handicapped. It is the by far the best experience I have ever had.

*The other day, at the school, there were two kids waiting in line to be able to toss a bean bag. The boy turned to the girl and said,"Can I have a hug?" (but in his cute, not so perfect, a bit slurred way) "Sure!" she answered with a bit of a lisp. They hugged and held eachother for atleast 30 seconds. As they pulled away the little boy whispered,"Hannah, I think you're my best friend." She said nothing except for the GIGANTIC smile on her face. "HIGH FIVE?!" the little boy asked. It's then that they attempted to give eachother a high five. It wasn't perfect by any means, the way they said things didn't make perfect sense, they barely touched hands when they high fived, but those two kids were the happiest kids in the entire world at that moment.

I get to count on Jack telling me,"Allee, I like you." every day. He never missed a hug and any opportunity he gets, he wants to hold my hand. Tyler is learning SO much. I give him swim lessons everyday and he is such a trooper! The water hasn't been warm and I just keep dragging him in but at the end of the lesson, he is still laughing and smiling. I was reading a book at the Anasagasti's [Tyler's house] the other night about the benefits of having a child in the autistic spectrum. What a blessing it is to have these sweet spirits around us!

This morning my mom was telling me about a story in the 'Friend'. As she was telling me about it she started to cry.

"{My Brother Is My Best Friend}"
"My big brother has autism. It is hard for him to talk and make friends, but he is my very best friend. I take care of him when we ride the bus to school, and I make sure he doesn't get lost when we are away from home. I help him find his class in Primary and pray for him every night."
"I have faith that one day he will be able to tell me what he has been thinking all this time. He will smile and tell me I am his best friend too. I am so lucky to be his big brother. I love him."
Boston B., age 8, Texas

I know I'm not the nicest all the time and sometimes I get angry at my little guys because they won't listen, but I really do love them and I hope that I'm good enough to them for them to be able to tell me, when they're made perfect, that I was their friend and they liked the days that I came over. My mom has had a few run-ins with Jack and I know that she feels his sweet spirit. Camden made the perfect statement after playing with Jack one evening....

"Heavenly Father just didn't make me special like Jack. Huh mom?"

{Told you I have the BEST job!!}

Really?! REALLY??!

Sundays are amazing! It's the one day a week I feel like I get to sleep in {when waking up around 4:30am every morning, sleeping til 6 is a WAY big deal!} Last night I stayed at Tyler's house because his parents were going to stay out for the night. I had to keep Emily up until 9:30pm because her mom said since it was the weekend she could stay up and she wasn't about to let me tell her otherwise! So FINALLY she went to sleep and then, of course, I caught my second wind. I did this and that around the house, painted my fingernails, played with the cat, thought of a craft project the kids and I could do this morning, and cleaned the kitchen. And then it was time to fall asleep!! BUT THEN THERE'S THE STUPID CAT!!! All night it was crawling on me and scratching me and trying to bite me {it's a new kitty, "it doesn't know better"} THEN at 5:30 this morning there's a little girl standing at the edge of the couch. "Allee....I have a problem." .....silence.....more silence...."Okay sweetie, what's your problem?" With tears in her eyes,"My pants are wet! I think I had a dream!" Oh boy!! So now I'm doing laundry while trying to keep Emily entertained. I was going to try to get ready for the day before the kids woke up but....[how was I supposed to know they'd be up 2 hours early??!]

My State of Mind

On my way home from Applebee's at midnight tonight there was a frog in the road. I was only going like 10 miles per hour so I knew for sure what it was and I thought, "I'm going to run over it!! This will be fun!" But at the last second, before I knew what my heart was telling my brain to make my body do, I swerved and missed.

"GOSH DANG AL!! How could you miss that? Why in the WORLD did you swerve?"

My response to myself.

"That's going to be some girl's handsome prince someday! Are you going to take that away from her?"

That's my state of mind for you! So for the next little lady getting married in my area, {YOU'RE WELCOME!}

Lessons Learned Part 349587234

{awe} peace at [last]!!!!! Today was another 'gosh awful, good for nothin, time wastin' day. I found out I've been working for the past week for free. The lady at work finally realized I don't know what I"m doing on a computer and let me know. And to top it all off, [I didn't even wear make-up to work today]. Our ward had a baptism night and I realized I had no idea where my recommend was. I looked and looked and looked and....well you get the point. I finally ended up having to call my bishop to get a new one because I couldn't miss this temple trip because 3 people called me reminding me about it!!! FINALLY got to the temple but I was a few minutes late so there were already people dressed in white. I went and got my jumpsuit and before I changed they asked me to get back to the chapel so we could have a little opening. As I was sitting there, I had the best feeling. I knew in the temple is where I needed to be. It was so peaceful and I felt like I had no problems in the entire world. The spiritual thought was amazing and as I sat thinking, I came to a realization. [I was sitting in this wonderful building, with the amazing feeling, in my 'normal' clothes. While the temple is a truly inspiring place, it was today that I finally realized that I can bring the temple spirit into my life without going there every day.] I don't know if that makes sense but sitting in the chapel with everyone else dressed in white just made me realize that special little lesson. It's what I've been taught since I was little but like with everything, I guess I just think I have to learn for myself....Today had it's ups and downs, but it ended on a GOOD NOTE and that's all that matters.

I'm just whining....

Another blah blah blah blah blah blah BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH day...I'm in the office for 8 hours all by myself. Ya it was nice for the 3 minutes that I twirled around and sang while listening to {Bubbly} but now it's just quite...the hum of the scanner...a banging on the wall from the other office...an occational car door closing outside...my phone vibrating from text messages from girls in the ward...a phone call about once an hour...the rhythm of the keys...my ball squeaking on the plastic thing on the floor...my sighs...yup....these are the things reminding me that I'm alive. Sounds interesting right???? This is the music of my life at work. Betcha all wish you had my tune huh?

I feel like I've really put some time into some things lately and then those things just fall through...or it wasn't done how a certain person wanted it done so it all just gets erased [we'll just forget the fact that both ways were perfectly fine although....my way was pretty awesome!!!] And these aren't things or people that you can argue about or with. It's times that you just have to smile, nod your head, and tell them "You're right, that was a really great idea!" or I have to keep saying,"It was a really nice idea Allee. Some people just have better things to do."

some days it's just annoying
some days I could care less
some days I could smile and actually mean it
some days I could argue but I know better
some days sitting in my car with the music up, windows down works
some days just being alone helps
some days just laughing makes it all go away

But today just isn't one of those 'some days'....today is a "I wanna do it all day."
I want to:
be a headbanger
scream
giggle till it hurts
smile for a reason
cry because I can
argue about something that's worth standing for
go people watching
be alone
squeeze a little kid cuz they're so darn cute
wrestle
play catch
watch a movie

Yup....today is a complicated day...so stay back!!!!!!!

My poor future...future....way future husband is one poor man!!! Look at that list! He's just not going to know what to do with me :-) But I guess that's part of it all....looking past the list. {I just hope he has a list like this sometimes too so I don't feel so bad!!!}

Anyway...that's me complaining.......sorry :-/

Holy MOTHER!!!!!! I always tell Abby that there are some things I just can't do because I'm not a mom...{TOTALLY TRUE!!!!} So with Chad and Caskie moving back into town, I thought it would be fun to have a spend the night. So with the 4 oldest grandkids in their swimsuits we walked to the swimming pool. [It really wasn't that warm of a day and there was a pretty good little breeze...ughhh...but they really wanted to so I figured 'What the heck!] Well Camden and Kaja were freezing and laying on the slightly warm cement to get their bodies to stop shaking. I decided that it was probably time to go. As we were getting to the gate, Abby dropped Jo-jo off so her and her hubby could go on a date. So off we went...actually we didn't get very far because there is this amazing contraption right outside the swimming pool and there have been scientific studies that kids CANNOT walk past it without playing on this plastic. After going down the slides and playing on the monkey bars we raced down the grass hills till we finally ran into a palm tree branch...well we didn't actually run into it but Darby found it and wanted to take it to 'the fort'. The 4 older kids went out to the dirt field to find a table and chairs while I made beans-n-weenies, cut up mangos, and juice. While trying to take dinner out the the fort and spilled beans-n-weenies all over my foot and burned it, bent my fingernail, bumped my head, and had to change a diaper....geeze life of a mom is ROUGH!!! But dinner out at the fort was wonderful! If you dropped a bean...oh well! Clean up was pretty easy and so in we went! Jo-jo, Kaja, and Darby took a bath in the girl's bathroom while Camden and Emery took a shower in Abby and Shane's shower. I popped popcorn, threw my keys in the big garbage outside and had to climb on in to get them out, cleaned up the house, popped popcorn, and cut up some apples. I went upstairs to get everyone out and there's noone in the bathtub!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come to find out they're ALL in the shower! What a mess.....we finally got everything all cleaned up and now we are just relaxing watching a cute little movie. What a lovely evening :-)

I could never have 5 kids I don't think. I would be the crazy lady that everyone wants to peep on to see how her life really is. My house would be a wreck and if my kids asked me if laundry was done I'd just have to say,"Do it yourself!" And beans-n-weenies???? What kind of meal is that? Healthy?? I think not!!!!! I see popcorn as a main food group. Getting baths everynight would be a hit or miss.....sorry kids.

I guess I'm just not a mom.

OH BOY!! It seems like time is just flying by! {If this keeps up, I'm going to be an old maid before I'm ready!!}

1.) Chad, Caskie & and Kids moved back
-I love cuddling with Kaja Mae
-I love Camden and his curious mind. [he has asked me questions I have never even thought about]
-Little Ryker man is so handsome and and is always giggling. (when I left today with Kaja he cried. I don't know if it was for me or if he was just sad his brother and sister were gone. {I'm just going to say it was because of me.})
-Chad is such a go-getter. He helped Blake out so much with the house in just a few days.
-Caskie got her house all organized and homey in a matter of hours. (that's what it seemed like to me anyway.) And now she's showed me a few little projects she's working on. I love that she sees something she likes and then tries to do it.

2.) Blake & April moved into their home-sweet-home!!! Their new and improved house is AMAZING! It fits them and I can't wait to see what April will do with it! I went and spent some time with them the other night and it was good. Just like the good ole days but then I had a 30 minute drive home instead of a walk up the stairs "-(

3.) Baby Kelepolo #2 made his awesome debut on April 16th!! I have been able to watch both of my sisters have all their babies and I wasn't about to miss this one so I made a quick little trip and watched Brody Kekoa Kelepolo turn and come on out!! He's a handsome little booger!!!!

4.) Work--enough said....

5.) Church....and all that goes with that right now....

6.) Trying to make everyone happy :-) I guess you could say I'm obsessed!!! I just want to be the BEST AUNT EVER!!! It's alot harder than I thought it would be but I love it! I'm having a hard time balancing out who to have when and drive time and activities and....okay enough with the excuses....BUT I LOVE IT!!! My neices and nephews are the best!!!! [no competition] I have also really enjoyed spending time with my brothers and sisters! They're all so amazing and teach me tons!

7.) I'm also doing school work. Right now my favorite class is PSY. I know I know....kind of surprising but my teacher is awesome and actually makes it interesting! it may be just because he's a funny guy and he's entertaining to watch....

8.) Last but not least....SLEEP!!!! Going to the gym at 5:30 am has been a little rough. {getting up at 5:00 to get there isn't bad, it's the waking up and 2:15 ready to go....then 2:45.....then I just give up and do homework or watch a movie.}

Simple...that's my life wrapped up in 8 easy step :-) anyone want to trade and I'll simplify your life? I'd prefer to trade with someone who has a degree, steady job...you know, something like that.

Today is little Emmy's birthday! YAY!!! She's 5 so that means Build-a-Bear with Grandma Kimmy! So Grandma made a quick trip to take Camden and Emery to get their stuffed animals. I think she's crazy! So most of us met up for lunch at Paradise Bakery. Yum Yum!

I went and picked up Kaja Mae and took her to work with me for a little while. She had a good time shredding paper for me! What a good little helper!!! As I was driving over to eat lunch I was thinking how annoying car seats are!! If I ever want to take any of the kids I have to take 10 minutes to get the stinking little chairs and then 10 minutes after we're done to put them back in the other car! I was thinking why don't they just make cars that already have kid seat belts in them??? I'm a genius!!! I looked over and saw this lady eating some kind of hamburger thingy, talking on the phone and looking in the mirror....all while driving!!! That's when I thought, "Why don't they just make safe drivers and then noone would have to wear these crazy seat belts!?!??"

Well, sorry for the incredibly long and boring post but I...well...that's just me lately haha things will perk up eventually :-) Until then.....a bientot!!!!!! [it's french]

4 and 20 black birds baked in a pie.....
OR
1 and then another black bird falling from the sky.....
The other day was a BEAUTIFUL day and I got off work before 6:00 at night so I figured I was going to go outside and ENJOY!!!! The garden needed some help so I put on my tank top, some shorts and my sweet sunglasses to catch some rays while cleaning up. IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!!! After I worked for a while I decided to swing on the swing. {Oh man it was fun!} You know when you're swinging and you're to the highest point and you look out and you feel like you can see everything?? [and it's from such a different perspective] I looked to the left and there was the garden; green with rows of dark and light dirt and a blossoming huge sunflower in the corner. Out in front of me was Sampson, waiting for me to get off the swing so I could play with him. The nice white house in the background with a cute little bench to accent just how magazine-ish it was. (if I took a picture of it right then, it could have been put in a magazine.) Off to my right, a cute little playground, red, blue, and yellow. Green, green, green everywhere!!! An awesomely huge tree that cast a colossal shadow. It was just wonderful!!! There was Sampson's ball, there's my phone, and there's...a crow??????? Yes my friends, a CROW was laying in our backyard. Honestly I've never seen a bird lay down so I thought this crow must be something pretty special!!! {LUCKY ME!!!!} Well, I'm sad to say that this rare black bird was not sleeping.
This morning April texted me asking me about this sad bird. "Yes, last time I saw the bird, it was in the back yard. DEAD AS A DOORNAIL." Well the birds last dying 'caws' must have been beautiful because another bird also chose our yard to spend it's last breaths.
Is it because our grass is so soft?
Is our air dirtier so as the fly by, they just die???
Did they decide our lawn was a central location for a burial ground??
MY OPINION?????
Our worms are rotten.

TGIF!!!

I LOVE FRIDAYS!!!! For one I only have to work at one place usually and it's for 3 hours max...then I get to do whatever I want (even though lately I've just been...working :-/) BUT I STILL LOVE 'EM!!!!!!! For example, today I woke up [after sleeping in til 6...YAY!] Abby and I went and worked out and then I got to slowly get ready for the day, until mom said,"You'll be ready in 10 minutes right?" {I was in my pjs, hair still wet, no make-up on} We went and watched "ALIENS VS MONSTERS or MONSTERS VS ALIENS in 3-D!!!! The girls were a crack up to watch and my mom kept on pulling on my arm so I could see what Emery was doing! She kept saying "It's like it's not on the screen!" THEN I finally went to work at LFG....it was 11.45 :-) I enjoyed a little hour meeting, did some scanning, made a spread sheet, and wrote some checks. And Cami found a little butterfly outside...it was hurt! So she brought it inside and it's new home was in the back office with me!!!! [I just found out that she released our friend Margie....] I went home because I've spent the night at Abby's the past two nights and I was running out of clothes!!!!!!!!!!! I had a couple of hours before I was to go to Jack's house so I did homework while laying outside....man what a life!!!! Tonight I got to spend some time with Jack, just me and him. "I like you Allee." "I like you too Jack!!!!" He was super tired but I didn't want him to go to bed because he was being so cute....but I guess I didn't want to make him miserable. And NOW I'm just watching Phineous and Ferb while listening to the hum of the baby monitor in the back ground. I HAVE THE LIFE!!!!!! I get to go hang out with some of my family tonight and then I get to spend all day with them tomorrow!!! I HAVE A FULL SATURDAY OFF TOMORROW!!!!!!! {no going to someone's house for the evening or anything 'crazy' like that!} YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only do I not have to work but I get to spend all day in dirty jeans and a t-shirt with my hair pulled back into a pony tail...not even a pretty one, just a ponytail! We're going to be over at Blake and April's new house, well it's going to be new when they put back together all the old stuff we've torn out. It's amazing what a little work will do!

And something else that I've loved this week...hard work. Abby and I have been going to the gym and it feels so good to sweat and feel it through the day! But my ulitmate of ulitmates is on Thursday my mom and I went to B&A's house and we worked HARD! We did alot. My jeans were nasty and my shirt was dirty too. And not dirty because I dropped dinner from last night on it either, dirty from physical labor! I got a blister and some scratches (it sounds bad but they hurt really bad! Not REALLY REALLY bad just bad enough to be annoying but it reminds me that I still am capable of doing physical work!) and my hands were even sore from holding onto a hammer so hard. ANYWAY, it's just been a good reminder to me that life isn't all about the type of jobs we have or even how much we make doing our jobs, it's about the things that make us feel accomplished and worth-while. AND it's just fun to see just exactly what my body can do!!! [even in it's not so fit form :-/]

So this week has been GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not bragging but sometimes some weeks are just, well, wonderful!!!!!!!!

BL PSRS

OH BOY!!!!!!!!!! Abby and I signed up at SNAP FITNESS yesterday!!! GO US! A couple of nights ago we went and checked it out and this black guy showed us around. (I'm not racist, black people just have different attitudes that Native Americans or Whites. I'm just describing the man.) So last night we filled out all this information, got our member card things, and the lady showed us how to open the doors. We thought we were done for the night but little did we know, Larry (for the sake of the story), had a different idea. He weighed us, checked our body fat percentage {ugh to both of those} and then walked us to the wall covered in a MIRROR! This is where he proceeded to measure our biceps, boo-boo area (I'm just glad I forgot to put on a sports bra otherwise my belly measurement would have been the same as my bee-bites!!!!!!), hips, calves, and thighs. It was humiliating to say the least! When he measured my booty he said,"Dang girl you got a big BOOTY!!!" You know it's bad when a BLACK guy tells you that!!!!! I've got ALOT of work to do! He said since I've gained so much weight so quickly that it's not going to come off too easy...I'm totally going to prove him wrong! So here goes no more sugary, enjoyable stuff and hello to salad, fruit, and vegetables, oh and 5:00 am wake up calls to get to the GYM!!!!!!! I'm so pumped but I'm sure that will wear off by oh tomorrow morning at 5:15 as I'm driving to work out! I'm ready though! YAHOO!!!! Thanks for pushing me Abby! I can't wait to see how HOTT we're going to look!!! Oh and uhhhh how healthy we'll be :-)

Wednesday, March 18, 2009

SO today on [facebook] I took a quiz-thingy-majig. "What is your REAL age?" I WAS 8!!!!! Ya know, being young is great! BUT 8???!! That's a little too young....I was hoping for a 15 or 16 maybe...or a 20...there's NOTHING wrong with that age. BUT 8? Is facebook trying to tell me something?? That means for every 2.5 years, I aged 1 year. Maybe I'll keep up the average and when I'm 60 my REAL age will be 24! MY GRANDKIDS WILL LOVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So that's what I have to look forward to, {never growing old}.

Think about this, "What do you have to look forward to?"

A-L-L-E-E

So it's become a regular thing since moving down here to the valley of the sun to have to spell my name out to people. In Snowflake everyone thought Allee was spelled A-L-L-E-E...here they think it's spelled A-L-I or A-L-L-Y or A-L-I-E or A-L-Y or A-7-Y-R or well you get the point. And every time I spell it they say,"Oh that's an interesting way to spell it." [Is that like saying I have a sweet spirit?] "I've never seen it spelled that way." [NO KIDDING!!!] "Ahhh that's cute!" [You should see my face!] And then they proceed to ask,"So it is short for Alison?" [Is that a real question or are you trying to be funny? How in the WORLD would you get Alison with A-L-L-E-E???? It must take some pretty scientific phonetics that I never learned.] The other day a man called and I spelled my name to him and he said,"That is the cutest way to spell it! I have three girls and another one on the way so I'm all into girl names right now. I love it!!!" NO WAY?!!! I LOVE MY NAME TOO!!! So thanks to my mom and dad...wait...ummmm so thanks to my AUNT LASCHELLE for coming up with my rockin' name! {Grandma Kathy, I can't believe you let your oldest daughter let her friend name her youngest daughter.} I thought there was an law or something that said that mom's are supposed to name their kids, ESPECIALLY their youngest, most cutest, most important child. But I guess Aunt Schelle is my 2nd mom so {no} hard feelings! I love you both! I've had some fun times with my moms [and dads]!! Workin' with Uncle Steve and riding on the van to the golf matches! He always made me sit up front with him so I wouldn't get in 'guy trouble'. Thanks Uncle Steve! And now my dad is {trying} to get me in 'guy trouble'!! Would you two get together and figure it out?!!? No wonder I'm so confused...And Aunt LaSchelle...I LOVE HER LIKE, WELL LIKE A 2nd MOM!!!! (She did name me after all!) She is always happy, smiley, AND she always has TREATS!!! I can remember one time that my mom was having a hard time with me and a decision I was wanting to make so she called Aunt LaSchelle. Aunt LaSchelle helped keep my mom calm and knock some sense into me...needless to say it didn't work. I love it when my parents get all together and have a good time...FRIVOLOUS FRIDAYS....ps I'm mad about that...wait til I leave and then it's ALL fun and games.

*I watched Alice in Wonderland for the first time at the Schneider's house.
*Brittany used to tease me that I was going to marry Creston and then we could be real sisters.
*The only time I've ever watched Star Wars was in the boy's room. I was hanging out there and noone would play with me so I watched it...by myself!
*Brittany had a doll that felt like a real baby. You know, glass head, squishy body...Aunt Schelle would help me hold it like is WAS real.

So I guess I've been double blessed...or I just need that much more help!!! I got my first name from my 2nd parents and my last name from my 1st parents...not bad if you ask me! I love you!! ALL 4 OF YOU!!!!

3...10...2...3 day cleanse

So, somehow Abby and I got the crazy idea to try to do a cleanse. I'm going to say it's her fault {and she'll probably say it's mine [don't believe her!!!]} I thought we should do a juice cleanse. 5 different kinds of juices a day....water...doesn't seem too bad right?? That's what I thought but I figured I better give Abby a choice.

*Juice Cleanse
-yummy juices
-variety
-3 days
*Master Cleanse
-lemon juice, cayenne pepper, maple syrup (not the good kind), and water
-2 LITERS plus water every day [that's it]
-Salt Water Flush (1 liter of water, 1 tablespoon of salt, drink it in 10 minutes and wait for it to clean out uhhhhh....ya...you know what I mean)
-3 days...after doing more research...10 DAYS

Take your choice....I think Abby was thinking,"No pain, no gain."

Day 1: Not bad. Lemonade 'stuff' makes me gag but I'll get used to it eventually.....right?? I've never gone potty so many times in one day! But atleast 'it' looks healthy :-) Threw up...first time since living by the cow farms that I was thankful for the smell. Besides that, no side effects...except for not feeling satisfied.

Day 2: Supposedly the worst day...supposed to get head aches, blemishes, sleepiness, and {possible death}. None of the normal symptoms appeared {except maybe the feeling of death by poison}. I still gagged down the drink but it didn't taste as bad as I was expecting it to. Today is the day we drink the Salt Water Flush...kind of excited to see what happens. Toxins are supposed to be released within an hour of drinking the liquid and people say it's intense! Abby and I decided since it's our first cleanse [and we eat pretty health as far as preservative are concerned] we would only go for 3 days instead of 10. Drank the liter on the way home from Abby's. I will never again drink salt pool water....no desire anymore. I didn't think this drink would be THAT bad. I started drinking it and by the time I got to the end, I had to FORCE myself to swallow. I would hold it in my mouth for a while until I could convince myself that there was no where else for it to go. I WAS NOT GOING TO SPIT IT OUT!! It was amazing! Before I got home I could feel my stomach a rumblin'. The second I walked in the door I threw up. Holy cow! I was afraid I was going to have to try stopping so I could flush the toilet before it overflowed! No wonder I threw up! So needless to say, the SWF didn't do any good besides clearing out my nose with watered down lemonade. I called Abby and told her that I quit. It's just not worth it. I ate a tangerine orange thingy...I FELT HORRIBLE!!! 3 days! That's it! 3 DAYS!!!

Day 3: I still feel bad for eating the tangerine orange thing but I am still drinking the lemonade crap. Today is the last day. And curse Jack's family!!! Erin {the mom} made some excellent smelling dinner last night and they're warming it up for lunch!!! They keep apologizing and I just think it's funny. They are awesome!!! Mmmmmm I can't wait for tomorrow's dinner :-) Even if it is just a sandwhich!

Thinking about this I'm wondering....[WHAT THE HECK?] Why would anyone in their right mind do this cleanse? I've come to the conclusion that I am doing this so one day (yes some day) I will be able to tell my kids,"Don't you dare complain about fasting! One time I did this clease...." and if they ever complain again, guess what they'll be eating for the next 3 days?

MY SUNDAY

I've set a new goal! I'm going to faithfully write in my journal. No more of this trying to summarize the past year on two pages because I can only write that much til my hand starts to cramp. Lucky for ya'll this here blog spot it going to be my journal for the next little bit. You know, until my hand exercises pay off and I can actually write as much as I need to. Don't worry, I'll keep the real juicy ones to myself, the ones that I'm sure none of you would want to hear....walks in the park where we shared a....well you get the picture. None of you want to know about that.

So today, Sunday March 1, 2009 was a, well it was a Sunday. I woke up all on my own!!! {It's weird how you wake up at the same time regardless of whether your alarm clock goes off or not but if it doesn't you wake up with a smile on your face.} I took a shower....I won't go into detail....blow dried my hair, curled it, clipped my toe nails, put on my make-up and read. Oh and checked my email and finished writing some things for Relief Society.

10:30-Presidency Meeting at Maya's. {Some days I feel like such a dork!! I'm so much younger than all of the girls in the presidency and sometimes I can just REALLY tell!}
12:45-Sitting in my pew in the chapel. Talking to Bishop Howard and Tionee (that's how it's spelled by me. Her name really has a 'K' in there somewhere.)
1:00-SACRAMENT MEETING!!!!
1:15-Fast potty break and trying to find the keys to BLOSSOM!!! She probably thinks I'm neglecting her.
1:20-Teacher development. Once again I felt like a young woman with all these older, much wiser presidencies around. WILL I EVER GET OVER THAT??!
2:05-Relief Society.
3:00-Hurry rush to another meeting with a girl in my ward!
3:45-Quick dinner at Abby's. YUMMY!!!!! Mashed potatoes and gravy, hamburger patties, cottage cheese with lettuce, and canned corn!
4:07-Help Abby finish wiping off counters and table.
4:08-6:53-Talked with Abby. Went to the park and watche the girls play with a neighbor. We raced home. I WON!!!!!!!!! I must be getting faster in my old age :-)
6:54-Drive home. Windows down, rockin' out to the Joseph Smith CD.
And well now I'm blogging.....errrrrr writing in my journal.

Okay when I talk about my life like that it doesn't seem so great?! I guess I'll just stick with my typical blogging...this is this and that is that...AND OH THERE WAS THIS...but he wasn't...just the best parts I guess...in a weird way.

So today the best part was...........DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMM......Realizing what it meant to love the sisters in your ward. During fast and testimony meeting I wrote down every girl's name who got up and bore her testimony. Some of them I had no idea why or how I knew her AND something about her but I did! Sitting in Relief Society I was thinking of when RS Presidents say,"I love each and every one of you!" I always thought,"Ya, ya sure you do sister. You know my name and maybe the fact that I'm from Snowflake but you do NOT love me." It was like an explosion in my heart today when I realized how much I truly love the girls in my ward. Regardless I might not know one individually but I love her. I visited with a girl after church and I had never seen her. We had a conversation that most people would NEVER talk about on a first meeting. When I left I actually gave her a HUG!!!! I'm not a hug fan especially to strangers but it felt so right and I just couldn't help myself!!!!!! The Lord works in mysterious ways!!!!

Parenting 101

My POOR [poor] Blossom!!! She has not been feeling that well lately. It's probably because I've missed a couple of weekly cleanings but come on Bloss, {give me a break}!! Her check engine light has been on for almost a week. I don't think the cold weather has been to good for her. (And when I say cold weather I mean 60 degrees or below.) In the mornings, as I pull up to the stop sign, I can hear her telling me,"Ahhh ALLEE!!! I'm just getting warmed up! Why do ya gotta do that to me??!!" Literally, she says that...so I called the Toyota dealership where I bought her almost {TWO YEARS} ago to see if I still had a warranty. Of course, it's a car dealership, and they couldn't tell me. I think the guy was going to try to make me buy a warranty for a car I already had, for a warranty I am still paying for an extension on. [It's a car dealer's way.] So I made an appointment for Blossom to see the Mechanical Doctor. I woke up a little early this morning so I could clean her out because how embarrassing would that be??? "Oh ummm ya that's just my papers, and my shirt, and my shoe, {what is this??} oh but that's my neices rubberband, and some girl's bananas [whoa, how long has this been in here?]...." I was a little nervous, it was Blossom's first Dr.'s visit so I asked Abby to come along and of course she did. (She knows how a 1st visit can go for a newby.) Well we slowly rolled into the service station and the 'nurses' were really nice. They told us where to wait and even got our information! Come to find out all Blossom needed was a few buttons pushed and WHALLAH she's better than ever! I could have done that at my own house!! (I hear that's how some people are with their first, you know, a little paranoid.) So thanks to the helpful people at the Toyota Scion Dealership!!

"I knew nothing was really wrong with her. I could have told you that if you would have taken that extra 30-40 pounds out of her earlier she would have been feeling just fine!!!" ~ April Brimhall

I know you're busy with school and all, okay mostly doing the Senior thing (senior ditch day, senior trip, cashing in those brownie points with the teachers, hanging out in the quad waiting for Mr. Westover to tell you to get to class, ya know, just being the big dawg on campus), but I just want you to know that I am WAY excited to have you closer to me! OH GEEZE...I must be growing up [or something]. I'll write a fun post this week!!! I have lots I could write about :-)

{thank you}

HONEY I'M HOME!!!!! Life lately seems like it's been crazy...fun...boring...monotonus...exciting...strenuous...relaxing...pleasant...miserable...average...WONDERFUL...and just plaing {jaw dropping} when I think about it. How the world can life change SO fast?!?? I want to know where the days of not going to work or sleeping in went! Someone please tell me now!!! But then I think again and I wouldn't trade my life now for anything {well you know...besides being married...HECK I'D EVEN TAKE JUST A BOYFRIEND!!!!!}. I thought I was happy a year ago. I thought that life was as good as it could get. I truly felt like I was on the plateau of euphoria. Then it crashed and burned...smothered for way too long...water didn't help...blowing only seemed to make it burn longer...and hoping that somehow the 'burn' would just go away on it's own only made the will of the fire burn deeper and deeper still. So I guess I'm dedicating this [blog] to my FATHER IN HEAVEN. For anyone who knows my life story in the past few years, you'll get the jist of what it all means. I just want mostly my family to know what I know, to feel what I feel. I can't believe the tender mercies that my FATHER IN HEAVEN has given to me through everything. I {KNOW} that OUR HEAVENLY FATHER knows our deepest desires. HE knows what makes us tick. HE loves me (and you) regardless of the flaws that we have. HE knows our weaknesses {but HE also knows our stregnths}. Satan, our brother, also knows us that well. He WILL and DOES pull us slowly down to the gulfs of MISERY. But even in the bottom of the deepest holes, our SAVIOR is the light which we look up to. We will always look up to HIM. Regardless of where in the pit of doom we are, our FATHER will lead us up. HE does everything in HIS power to help us CHOOSE the narrow but straight path of true happiness. HE stands strong and abiding at ALL times! HE is the one true constant in my life. HIS hands (not only HIS hands but HIS arms, HIS ENTIRE BODY) is standing, waiting for my to take advantage of the eternal bear hug of true happiness, {BLISS}. And that's what it is all about. {Our CHOICE}. I CHOOSE my future, I shape my [JOY]. I am going to let MY SAVIOR envelop me in HIS love, {warmth}, but mostly HIS light. I love my HEAVENLY FATHER. I am in debt to HIS son, {JESUS CHRIST}, a debt that I will never be able to repay. [BUT ONE THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET]. HIS sacrifice is perfect. It is infinite. The {ATONEMENT} is the one way that I will ever be able to return to my FATHER. I want to be able to stand by HIM and hear HIS voice say, "WELL DONE, MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT. I LOVE YOU MY DAUGHTER, ALLEE." {and of course a huge ole bear hug}. I have felt HIS warmth and {love}. It is real. Without a shadow of a doubt, IT IS REAL!

I want to thank my family. You all have been my physical reminder of the hug that our FATHER IN HEAVEN is waiting to give us. I love you ALL. {More than you have an idea of}.

This all makes me think of my family. I want to be like our brother, CHRIST. I will {CHOOSE} to hold my arms out, welcoming you, loving you regardless of EVERYTHING! [not that there's anything not to love].

I know we all go through struggles. Whether they are big, or small, public, or private, we all have something to work on.

"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that {when} the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, {when} all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall."
*{WHEN} not [IF]
I hope that I can stand like our HEAVENLY FATHER, with my arms open wide, trying to share my light. I will {CHOOSE} not to be like our brother [satan] (I picture HIM with HIS arms crossed, awful grin on HIS face, fooling us. Making us think that a smoldering fire is not what we want, that we need a HUGE BON FIRE!!!)

I love you all. But I want you to know that I love my SAVIOR, my HEAVENLY FATHER, and the HOLY GHOST. I also love our {other} brother. Satan. HE has helped me realize the true importance in life and where my priorities should be. I love him, but I will not follow.

In some families, please is described as the magic word. In our house, however, it was sorry. ~Margaret Laurence

I am sorry. Thank you for all you've done to help me!!
